Hello summer-lovers,
I took a break from my summer class last week to go down the shore for the weekend… but don’t think I forgot about you guys! While there, I decided to show you guys my beach bag essentials. Check it out:
My mom bought me this satchel when she was traveling in Morocco. It’s my go to beach/pool bag and I absolutely adore the bright colors!
Make sure you pack enough film for your trip! Who else loves to decorate their walls/fridges with cute Polaroid pics?
Pro-tip: don’t wear these puppies for too long unless you want a reallllly awkward tan. These sunglasses are from Urban Outfitters!
Does anyone else get super dry lips from sunbathing? This’ll come in handy.
Always remember to re-apply sunblock if you’re going to sunbath for more than 30 minutes and remember you can’t just apply tanning oil by itself. I love a good tan but too much sun is bad for you. Those harsh UV rays can cause skin cancer and other health problems. So it’s better to be safe and tan than sorry!
P.S. the beer isn’t mine, I don’t even drink beer. But my mom’s friend said a good beer tastes even better while relaxing on the beach!
Whether you need something to lay on or to dry off after you’re done swimming in the ocean, a good beach towel always comes in handy! Also, if you’re only spending a day at the beach then be sure to bring a change of clothes/undergarments so you can be comfortable during the drive home!
Last but not least, a cute beach cover-up (also bring a hat!) My cover-up is a size large from UNIQLO.
