Are you stumped on ideas over how to spend your Halloween this year during Covid-season? Look no further, I’ve compiled together a short list of fun activities that you can do all from the safety of your own home!

  1. Glam Night
    – Whether you want to paint some cool nail designs or experiment with some graphic makeup, there’s plenty of room for mistakes since no one is going to see it! But, if it ends up turning out great then you can always snap a pic and share it to social media! 😉
  2. Pumpkin Carving
    – For this activity, you would need to go to a pumpkin patch or maybe your local grocery store (while wearing a mask of course.) But once you snag a pumpkin, you can take it home to carve whatever design you’d like!
  3. Baking Spooky Treats
    – I love to bake so, this one was a given. You can make cookies, cupcakes, or a variety of different treats! Make sure to have some cookie cutters or orange and black colored icing to really make it festive!
  4. DIY Crafts & Decorations
    – Bats, spiderwebs, ghosts, etc. Utilizing some household items that are laying around, you can totally make some cute art to get into the festive mood!
  5. DIY Costumes
    – Even if you’re staying at home, you must admit, it’d still be fun to get a little dressed up! I like to Pinterest some DIY costume ideas that take little to no effort like a pirate costume or maybe even a K-pop idol (lol.) Whatever you prefer, it would add a little extra holiday spirit by dressing up on Halloween!
  6. Zoom Costume Party
    – Now that you’re all dressed up, get all of your friends or family together on Zoom and have yourselves a little costume party! You can pour your own drinks, at your own leisure~ Someone can be the DJ for the night and share their Spotify sound with everyone so, you can still listen to music while chatting or dancing around. If you live alone, this would be a great option to try out so you can still be with loved ones without risking anyone’s health!
  7. Zoom Among Us/Game Night
    – I’ve been seeing Among Us memes EVERYWHERE and I so badly want to play but haven’t gotten the chance to yet. While you’re on Zoom, start an Among Us party game night and have fun trying to find out who’s the Imposter! This will guarantee put you in the ~spooky~ mood. 🙂
  8. Halloween Movie Marathon
    – A must-do on Halloween, have a Netflix streaming party with some friends or curl up and turn on some flicks on your own time! My favorite movies to watch are Scary Godmother, Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Halloweentown!

I’m very much a homebody so thinking up this list was no problem at all. I hope you guys have a safe and fun Halloween! Stay tuned next week for a new post.
