SURPRISE!!! Infatuated with Simplicity is officially partnering with Insert Name Here (INH) for our 100th blog post! *cue giddy screaming and applause*

How I heard about INH

Now, if you follow me on Instagram, you know how OBSESSED I’ve been with Insert Name Here. This whole hair journey began when I wanted to dress up as Ariana Grande for Halloween. Yup, I said it. I searched through countless amounts of websites to find the perfect ponytail extension before I found a cheaper-end one from Amazon. That ponytail was not only difficult to apply but to be honest, it sadly only lasted the night. On the hunt to find a more long-lasting ponytail extension, because I wanted to keep living my best hair life post-Halloween, I stumbled upon Insert Name here on Instagram.

The first ever ponytail extension that I ordered from INH was the Brit pony and let me just say- not only was it easier to apply but the quality was already significantly better. Following this purchase, I decided to splurge on their Kyra wig. Do you know how hard it is for pure Asian hair to transform into platinum blonde?

The Kyra wig allowed me to live my best platinum blonde dreams. And that, my lovely readers, is exactly why I fell in love with Insert Name Here. Their products just allow you to be whoever you want to be, at low cost and without damaging your natural hair.

Who is Insert Name Here?

Insert Name Here (INH) was co-founded by a dynamic team of entrepreneurs Jordynn Wynn, Sharon Pak, and Kevin Gould. Jordynn and Sharon were on the starting team for Colourpop, a high-quality and budget friendly makeup brand. Whereas, Kevin Gould is current CEO of Kombo Ventures (talent management and consulting company.) With their combined knowledge of the beauty industry and brand building, they were able to create Insert Name Here. The brand is founded on the belief of never limiting your self-expression and building your confidence to be your best self. INH is your go-to for wigs, ponytail and hair extensions to transform your look for any occasion. And how genius is that? Just how there’s always a new makeup trend, there’s always going to be a new hair trend! Celebrities are constantly changing up their hairstyles whether it’s as simple as bangs or going platinum- INH has got you covered.

Product Review

Packaging
INH ships all of their products in recyclable mailers which is already a win for me. BUT, their focus on sustainability doesn’t just end there.
As of late, INH is working on creating a 2-in-1 packaging that works as a mailer AND storage. Along with this new take, they’re also featuring a compartment with a sample hair piece so it allows you to see if the color-match works for you before you open the part of the packaging containing the pony extension. Can we get a “hell yeah”?? Bonus: their new packages are also labeled with the style of pony, color, and length.

The Product
First impression: the hair is SOOOO soft! Softer than my actual hair which gives me mixed feelings about my own locks (still looking for a good hair mask to save my bleached ends!) INH products are made from 100% Japanese synthetic textile fiber which gives it that smooth, silky finish. The Brit pony (26-inch) has a cute curled tip while the Miya pony (24-inch) has a subtle crimped, yaki perm texture. Then, the Shayla pony is the same length as Brit but just more voluminous with amazing curls. Sammy helps you achieve that perfect messy bun while Kyra is a platinum blonde, pin-straight wig with darkened roots for a more natural feel. From the Kyra wig to the Miya pony, everything that I’ve tried on and worn out have felt super lightweight and comfortable. From date night, to dancing at the club, to dressing up for my 9-5 job; these hair pieces can last all day and night.

It just gets better
Worried that your hair won’t last through all of the different events? Tired of having the same pin-straight wig and want to change up the style? Don’t want to splurge so much on a wig or ponytail extension? Well, no need to worry! All INH hair products are hand-washable with sulfate-free shampoo and heat resistant of up to 350 degrees. Some of their products say that it’s heat resistant of up to 400 degrees but I just like to keep it at 350 degrees just to play it safe. Lastly, Insert Name Here offers Quadpay on their website- allowing customers to pay for their products in increments of four. That means that you can be paying as low as $12 up front for your first purchase of a ponytail extension! Ca’mon, a hair company that sells amazing, high-quality products at a low budget? Shordynn (& Kevin) knew exactly what they were doing.
